The apartment is as centrally located as one can possibly wish for in the medieval part of town,
called Barri Gotic, next to Barcelona's central Plaça Sant Jaume with the famous Las Ramblas promenade
just a stones throw away.
With several metro stops and the nearby shopping streets, Ferran and Avinyo next to the Plaça Sant Jaume
with the Ayuntamiento (City Hall) and the Palau de la Generalitat (seat of the Catalan government) make
the apartment ideal for both business and holiday travelers.
On one side of Ferran is the city's oldest neighborhood of Del Call: the maze of calm and winding streets
recall a forgotten history of Jewish Barcelona which is now occupied by charming antique shops and tucked
away restaurants. On the other side of Ferran is calle Avinyo with its hip designer boutiques. A bit further
down Ferran is the typical Spanish square called Plaça Reial boasting an interesting selection of clubs,
bars and restaurants. Las Ramblas with its flower stalls, bird sellers and living statues is not further
than 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
